I'm always excited when I have something to do during the long, wintry month of January.  Even more so this year because the weather has been so unusually brutal for much of the nation.  Thoughts that come to mind are a pot of chili on the stove, the smell of bread baking, the sun shining in my south windows where I love to cook and sew, and a new quilt project to inspire my creativity.  There is nothing quite like a new project that makes my heart sing, to motivate me during the long dreary winter months.  I enjoy the sound of the Super Bowl game in the background, knowing my husband is happily cheering on his favorite team, while I'm doing what I love.  How about you?
